6-Weeks to Splits is a series of flexibility training classes that progress each week. Each class is designed to lengthen and strengthen all of the muscles you need to get your splits. We use many different stretching and muscle relaxation techniques to make the splits attainable for everyone!

Hello! My name is Katherine and I am a Yoga Instructor and Studio owner in Portland, OR. I grew up in Missouri and spent a few years in Austin, TX getting my degree in Arabic and Middle Eastern studies from the University of Texas. After college, I moved back to Missouri for a bit and did my 200hr yoga teacher training in St. Louis, MO. I love practicing and teaching yoga, and helping people feel confident and proud of their bodies. I also enjoy traveling, hiking, studying languages, reading thrillers, and watching my all time favorite show, The Office. I created 6-Weeks to Splits in 2017 and started teaching it to my students at my studio, My Yoga Room, in Portland, OR. I have helped many people in the Portland area reach their flexibility goals, and I am so excited to share this program with everyone!

What is 6-Weeks to Splits?
6-Weeks to Splits is a flexibility training program designed to lengthen and strengthen the hamstrings, quads, hips, and inner thighs to help you achieve your splits safely and effectively!
How does it work?
We have a series of 6 flexibility training workouts that progress each week. Each workout is 60 minutes long and uses a variety of different stretching and muscles relaxation techniques. We have also included a 30 min Yin Yoga and a 30 min pre-training video for you to use on your rest days.
Do I have to be an experienced Yogi?
No. 6-Weeks to Splits uses many yoga postures but also includes exercises from a variety of different sports such as martial arts, gymnastics, and dance. The series is open to beginners and those who have never practiced yoga before.
Can I really get my splits in 6-Weeks?
Yes! Everyone is different. It might take you more time it might take you less. It just depends on your body and how much work you put in.
Is it possible that my body isn’t able to do the splits?
Almost everyone has the ability to do the left and right splits if they put in the effort. However, not everyone is able to do the middle splits. This will depend on your body and your bone structure. You can consult a sports chiropractor if you are interested and finding out what your middle split potential is.
When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish. However, we do have a 6-Week printable plan for you to follow.
